The reason we started this

Board Sports started because of a gap, not in the market but in the shelves.

Walk into most snowboard shops today, and you already know what you're going to find. The same five brands. The same colourways. The same safe bet. Whether it's a big-box retailer or a local shop trying to stay afloat, the racks look identical. Somewhere along the way, the industry got efficient, and snowboarding lost a little of its soul in the process.

We've been in action sports long enough to remember when it wasn't like that.

Between us, we carry decades of experience across snowboarding and beyond: riders, shop rats, events, people who've spent more time on snow, concrete and dirt than behind a desk. We've watched action sports evolve from the outside in and sometimes, worked from the inside out. We know this world because we've lived it, not studied it.

And for a long time, we faced the same problem every core shop faces eventually: the small brands, the ones doing something genuinely interesting, the ones with a point of view, the ones that deserve a seat at the table, are almost always the hardest to stock. Minimum orders. Limited distribution. No known names. So shops drop them, and those brands quietly disappear from the shelves of the places that should be championing them.

This is our answer to that problem.

We've built this online shop specifically to carry the snowboard and binding brands that most of Europe won't give shelf space to. The niche labels. The independents. The ones pushing craft, culture or both. You won't find our selection in a sports chain. That's not an accident.

This isn't nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia. It's a practical belief: the small brands are what keep snowboarding interesting. They always have been. The Forum Destroyers didn't come from a boardroom. Capita didn't start as a corporate play. The brands that shaped the culture started exactly where our brands are now: fringe, committed, and building something real.

We're here to give them space, and to make sure riders who know the difference can actually find them.
